Designer at Heart?

I have found by nature I like being creative because with creativity there are no data points or means to an end.  Obviously, with marketing you have to take data, analyze it and in essence form your product, but the creative process has always intrigued me.  I realize I look at things very analytically when it comes to marketing.  I can say yes I like it or no I hate it, fairly easily and that feels good.  Granted, I don't know if I'm any good at it, but I think I have a good eye for making people go "what is that!?"
I can tell you one blog right now is driving me nuts because of how "unorganized" creatively it is.  Some people might think those two words together are an oxymoron, but I think you have to be very organized to be creative in the most excellence sense.

Most artists I know are perfectionists in their craft (maybe not in life matters, but in creative elements).  I think I want to write and be creative in the business sense of designing and marketing things properly.  Making something stand out and say "I'm here world, Im here!" makes me get excited.  Whether it is a book I want to write (i'm currently half way through writing one) or designing spreads in marketing materials, I think that's what I'm good at.  And oh ya, I also am a pretty organized person when it comes to business stuff (maybe I should start my own business?)
What would my product be?  What services would I provide and to whom?
