PPT - Olive Trees & Seven Lamps

Someone yesterday sent me an encouraging verse from the 4th chapter of Zechariah.  After reading the entire chapter I felt even more encouraged.  The verse she sent me was

Zechariah 4:10
"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin..."

This commentary really explained the true meaning of what God wanted from Zerubbabel which was to consider a day, just a day and to not dwell on the fact that his temple (or dream) laid in ruins for 20 years.   Then it goes on to say "In many of God's choice workers He uses a powerful season of small things.  Those days are not a mistake or punishment; they are days of priceless shaping and preparation. They are not days to despise.

In what ways is God using the "small beginnings" as a season of shaping in your life?
